I have missed you

Well friends I am sorry for the VERY long delay in writing.  Darrin and I had to postpone our trip due to becaoming home owners(a worthy sacrifice) and so are now pushing it out to beginning of next year.

Here is an update so far...

I am still working out althought not quite as dilligently as I was before.

I am happily still losing weight I am now at.....144!!  Woo hoo.  Although now I shrunk my cute new coral jeans and now I need to get that number down a few more in oder for them not to look ridiculous.

I look forward to updating you more often in the future hopefully with motivation as I try to shave off the remaining pounds of baby weight and continuing to stay healthy.

A little kick please

Anyone...anyone

I need some motivation, this week has been difficult to motivate myself to workout. Does anyone have anything they do to motivate themselves to workout?

I've got almost exactly 2 months before our trip to lose about 10 pounds and I can't figure out how I am going to do that so anyone's help is welcome...eek!

Under

Boo-ya under 150 baby...just barely but hey a girl has got to celebrate.

Yesterday I tried a different workout, I went to a highschool and used their track to run speed training (basically I would sprint on the straight parts of the track and jog on the rounded areas.) After about 25-30 min I ran the steps outside the track, it wasn't so much that is was tough but rather scary because the stairs were really narrow and running down them brought on thoughts of a broken neck and no one seeing me.

I alternated running stairs with chair dips and push-ups.

I recommend this workout because you don't need a gym to get a workout, and with the weather getting better it's just nice to be outside enjoying it.

Friday- Off....meh I ate Junior mints instead

150!!!

I am at the 150 mark....I can't wait to get back to the 140's this coming month. I am glad that the weight is starting to come off more regularly. I have lost about 11 pounds in 2 1/2 months. I would love to lose at least another 11 but I am shooting for 14-15.

My arm inspiration


Have you guys seen Cameron Diaz and her crazy muscular/toned arms? I am inspired by her results, and though I don't have a personal trainer or personal cook I am going to work a little harder and use a little more weight when I work out.

Working it

I did something a little different this week (Week 10) I did a double workout Thursday. It was actually pretty good just as long as you give yourself enough time in between the 2. Stay tuned for pictures next post.

I was successful in fitting into another pair of pre-pregnancy pants yesterday, I just tried to overlook the muffin top :)

I am still here

Another week and not much going on with the weight loss unfortunately, last week was a lazy one compared to other weeks here's hoping I get things going again this week...so far so good!

Like I said lazy week but I had a great workout today with P90x Legs and Back that will get you sweating in no time!
I must say I am concerned a little over 3 months until the trip and only about 6-7 pounds lost...gulp...I still need to lose around 20! Get it done Erin!

Up Up Update

I haven't weighed myself in a week so I have no idea if I have lost any weight from a week ago and I don't really notice a change in the fit of my clothes so I doubt it. I am still trying to cut back as much as I can on carbs and I haven't had pop since early January....go me!!! Nothing but water since, I don't even miss it anymore. Now if only I could stop eating chocolate all together...psh yeah right!

Well so far I have lost about 5 pounds, if I can keep that up every month I will definitely reach my goal by June but I have to say eating chicken breasts and green beans...bleh!

An update

You know I thoroughly enjoyed reading my past post, it's pretty funny how frustrated you can get when trying to lose weight.

So last Saturday night Darrin and I went to a health and fitness store and spoke with a guy who used to be a professional body builder. He now developes eating and diet plans for anyone needing help. He recommended some new protein powder and carbohydrate powder for us to use when we work out so that our muscles can get the nutrients they need before and after we work out. I also started some fat burning pills but you definitely need to eat soon when you take them or you get sick....refer to my Tuesday! I was warned I would probably put on weight at first then it would stop to drop pretty quickly. Let's keep our fingers crossed!!!

Discouraged!!!

Well today I weighed myself and I have only lost half a pound...Ffffffffff!

Yeah I know I am building muscle and sometimes you don't lose weight right away...blah de blee blah

I am angry I am working my a** off, I better start seeing some changes soon or I am going to eat everything off the menu at Cafe Rio.....I'll do it!!

Whew I feel better

Stay tuned tomorrow to learn about some new supplements I have purchased that hopefully rectify this situation.

Slide a little healthy in there

Sometimes I use a few tricks to make the food that I am craving a little healthier...



  • Instead of using butter for grilled cheese I just put olive oil in the pan, and I usually like to add tomatoes and avacados....it's so good try it!

  • When I want a bowl of pasta I substitute half the amount of noodles for steamed veggies, to the untrained eye it looks like a full bowl of pasta but inside is a ton of good stuff for you.

  • I like to slice fresh tomatoes on pizza, I usually eat less and you are getting all the extra nutrients in the tomatoes.

Well this is what I have been doing on top of no Pop and very little candy. I have cut back on carbs and have been increasing my protein intake.

I don't notice much of a difference yet so it has been easy to be discouraged but I am hoping that as I keep on it I will get the body I have been working for in June.
