Well hello again


Hey everyone, I'm still here...still trying to lose the last of the baby weight.  Let me tell you that at 36 it is getting trickier to lose pounds.  Honestly the only thing that works is clean eating.  I'm on a clean eating plan and on week 4.  I'm just trying to change my tastes a little bit.  I had a bite of a snickers today and it did nothing for me, I threw the rest away...small win!!

I realized it has been almost 4 years since posting here but from time to time I look. Ack and read what I have accomplished at that time. I am still on a never ending journey to lose weight after having another baby last year. And of course with each child it fets more and more difficult. As of now I am doing a mix of P90X and Insanity because they get the job done. In January I really started to get serious about losing the baby weight and have lost 17 pounds since then. I on a plateau right now so the only thing that is going to kick that is re-evaluating my nutrition. As you can imagine that is especially tough this time of year, I have already enjoyed several mini candy bars from our trick or treating haul. If anyone in the blog universe still reads this, how are you resisting temptation around all these holiday treats?

I have missed you

Well friends I am sorry for the VERY long delay in writing.  Darrin and I had to postpone our trip due to becaoming home owners(a worthy sacrifice) and so are now pushing it out to beginning of next year.

Here is an update so far...

I am still working out althought not quite as dilligently as I was before.

I am happily still losing weight I am now at.....144!!  Woo hoo.  Although now I shrunk my cute new coral jeans and now I need to get that number down a few more in oder for them not to look ridiculous.

I look forward to updating you more often in the future hopefully with motivation as I try to shave off the remaining pounds of baby weight and continuing to stay healthy.

A little kick please

Anyone...anyone

I need some motivation, this week has been difficult to motivate myself to workout. Does anyone have anything they do to motivate themselves to workout?

I've got almost exactly 2 months before our trip to lose about 10 pounds and I can't figure out how I am going to do that so anyone's help is welcome...eek!

Under

Boo-ya under 150 baby...just barely but hey a girl has got to celebrate.

Yesterday I tried a different workout, I went to a highschool and used their track to run speed training (basically I would sprint on the straight parts of the track and jog on the rounded areas.) After about 25-30 min I ran the steps outside the track, it wasn't so much that is was tough but rather scary because the stairs were really narrow and running down them brought on thoughts of a broken neck and no one seeing me.

I alternated running stairs with chair dips and push-ups.

I recommend this workout because you don't need a gym to get a workout, and with the weather getting better it's just nice to be outside enjoying it.

Week 12

Monday- Insanity Plyo
Tuesday- Shoulders and Arms
Wednesday- Bikram(back on it again)
Thursday- Chest and Back
Friday- Off....meh I ate Junior mints instead
Saturday- Track Day!!
